Hi, I’m Allie!
Where emotional processing meets practical, compassionate support
I know that emotional processing is foundational to healing, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels warm, grounded, and safe. My work centers on helping individuals better understand their emotional experiences, reconnect with their bodies, and build routines that promote regulation, purpose, and self-compassion.
In our work together, my hope is that you feel supported in moving from survival mode toward sustainable well-being and a deeper connection to yourself and your life.
Who I Work With
After nearly a decade practicing in hospital-based care, I’m excited to transition into the outpatient setting and apply my skills in a more relationship-driven environment. I have a special interest and training in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, autism, and ADHD.
I also have a background of working with those who are experiencing challenges with infertility and the postpartum adjustment from a women’s health OT lens.
Some of the areas I love to focus on include: nervous system regulation, emotion and sensory regulation skills, neurodiversity support, sleep routines, chronic pain support, time management and planning, activity pacing and energy conservation, women’s health, and infertility support.
I work with young adults, adults, healthcare professionals, parents, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, creating a space that honors the complexity of each person’s lived experience and needs.
How We’ll Work Together
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that shape your emotional and physical well-being. This may look like reconnecting with your body’s signals, developing routines that feel supportive and sustainable, or learning tools to navigate stress and overwhelm.
My goal is to meet you where you are—with compassion, curiosity, and a grounded presence—and to help you find new ways to feel at home in yourself and your daily life.
A Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Michigan and found my way to Chicago in 2016 in search of adventure. It didn’t take long before I knew I wanted to put down roots here. Chicago consistently gives me the sense that meaningful experiences, interesting people, and exciting opportunities are always on the horizon.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young boys, cheering on T-ball from the sidelines, going on neighborhood walks, podcasting and listening to podcasts, thrifting, and connecting with friends near and far. I travel to Michigan often to spend time with family.
The strong ties I have to both my close-to-home and far-away communities make me feel whole. These connections mirror the way I hold space for others to feel seen, supported, and understood.
